Habit 8: Exploring claims of universal standards in relation to culturally diverse ideas.

We all have neccesities, and we all seem to look for an swer. Many turn to a god. A question many people or societies ask is "who is God"? Some people like the hindus have many gods. Others just have a differnt idea of what god is. In the mongol teror , Mongol peace DBQ we see that both the Mongols, the Mulims, and the Christians was a different view on who god is. The standard of equality, and freedom also, is viwed differently among the people of the world. Some say its just in our minds, others say it is giving the people more rights. Also, the thought of  what is the opression of women. As Americans we think veiling is opressing women. On the other hand, the Middle Eastern people see that we opress women by juding them on the outside, rather than what they are in their inside.

Evidence

The piece of evidence I decided to se for this habit of mind is the Mongol DBQ. I decided to use this as my evidence , becuse in these documennts we have many different points of view of who God is, and what his will is. For emaple in one of the documents, the Mongol leader Guyak Khan believes he is diong the will of God, because everything is going right for them.
